Very late to get this posted but just a note to those who asked. Last week I entertained a whole lot of souls at the Klunkers Ball the third birthday party for One Planet Adventure who operate the mountain bike center at Llandegla... during the preamble to the late night music during the barbeque I slipped on a mix track loads and loads of you asked me about as it featured every hip hop track you have ever loved.. for a few seconds. It is of course The Diary a track by London DJ Chis Read and set the world of Hip Hop on fire a few years ago releasing this track for free on the internet and limited edition CD but for those of you who missed it here is a pdf of the track listing and a link to down load the music file can be found on my web site here

Just discovered this .. and missed it ended 31st Aug... why does London always get this kind of fascinating street display.... any how the National Gallery reproduced 50 or so of its best paintings and framed them and erected the canvases scattered around London in a series of themed trails to allow those who never venture into the galleries to understand what they might be missing....... if you missed it check out the website also the Flikr Photo Gallery

Was the strap line to the top mountain bike event of the international calendar and it was quite true. Yes the world came to Scotland and the best riders in the disciplines of Cross Country, Downhill, 4 X (four cross), and Trials arrived in the hope of being crowned the worlds best.. it was televised live across the world by TV and internet and above is the 4x finals which were flood lit on Friday night. The Beeb were there too and there is plenty of good online coverage on their website. Luckily I had a front row seat at every race as one of the events officials but standing that close it is hard to see what happened so it’s good so many online replays are available.

Back to Commissairing duries for British Cycling this weekend when the National Mountain Bike Points Series round rolled into nearby Moelfre Hall not that far from Oswestry ... one hell of a mountain how it arrived there its a surprise but it dwarfs most of its immediate neighbours only the lofty Berwyns 3 or 4 miles away look down on it. I had my small digital camera and took some lightweight footage of the event to to use to test the new iMovie... and here hopefully is the mini movie posted to help anyone wanting to know more about downhill racing and the venue .The course was prime with great weather

Apple finally got around to releasing the latest version of iLife.. much to many surprises there was not only a overhaul of iMovie they virtually scrapped it and brought out a new application. Not quite sure if its an ideal alternative after playing around for a few days however the new iMovie is able to convert and load all movie footage straight into YouTube which saves hours of work and frustration. Other changes see a nicely tweeked iPhoto and a nice new skim feature that lets you browse collections of images or movie... in iWeb, the web tool gets an important change, we can now integrate Youtube embedded html into the page removing the need to acquire third party tools. iWeb users can now assign their own domain names to iWeb made websites so hence from this day forward this blog will be at www.ipodista.co.uk.. all I had to do was set up a CNAME alias with my domain supplier... 2 minutes .. so now here is a movie I made in Vigo earlier this year I squeezed it through iMovie and pressed the load direct to YouTube which was as easy as switching a light switch on then embedded the code straight into this page..... here goes hope it works
